Abstract

Understanding the origins of galaxies and their subsequent evolution is one of the most often asked problems in astrophysics today. Studying globular clusters (GCs) in these galaxies is an important approach to answering this question since GC features reveal important information about the creation and evolution of the clusters and their host galaxies. The precise frequency of globular clusters in different galaxies is a crucial GC metric that is highlighted in this article. The genesis and development of globular clusters are discussed. Our results show that different types of galaxies have varied ratios of the specific frequency of GCs to the luminosity of their host galaxies.
